Fancy Food Show

Some highlights from the fancy food show that took place last week in San Francisco:

  • Premium snack crackers — La Panzanella, creators of the award-winning Croccantini, introduced a trio of uniquely seasoned snack crackers under its new Fieri line.
  • Wine country soda — From Berkeley comes Vignette Wine Country Soda, the first carbonated soft drink naturally sweetened with the juice of California varietal wine grapes.
  • Tasty new purées — Allowing home chefs and budding mixologists the same opportunity to add rich gourmet flavors to a variety of dishes and create classic cocktails, like a white peach bellini, the Perfect Purée of Napa Valley has expanded its fruit and vegetable offerings.
  • Heavenly puddings — The decadent handmade desserts from the Sticky Toffee Pudding Company reflect the revival of the great tradition of British hot puddings.
